Michael and Crystal will discuss research related to sleep challenges for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, with a focus on supports available and top tips for managing sleep disorders and difficulties.
Also covered will be top tips for the social care workforce, who do waking night and sleep-in shifts, to maximise good quality sleep during the day.
About the Speaker
Michael Fullerton is Director of Wellbeing and a Learning Disability Nurse, working with Achieve together, a national social care provider for autistic people and adults with learning disabilities.
Crystal Higgins is a member of Campaign 4 Change Self Advocacy Group, and as a person with lived experience has a passion for health promotion.
